Creative Mobile Technologies, LLC, a dominant player in the taxi dispatch, interactive mobile media and point of sale space, headquartered in Long Island City, New York, is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer. This is a full time position based in Long Island City, NY.
The primary responsibility of this position involves providing application support to internal customers for various issues involving CMT production systems. Additionally, this position is responsible for performing quality assurance tasks for internal web and message processing applications.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support PCI Security effort
- Coordinate installation, upgrade, or deployment projects.
- Troubleshooting network problems and outages
- Establishes networking environment by designing system configuration, defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
- Secure network system by establishing and enforcing policies; defining and monitoring access.
- Troubleshoot difficult and/or time sensitive problems.
- Assist Developers with projects, as a direct participant, and to lend your unique areas of expertise when required
- Troubleshoot and resolve network, computer system, email and phone issues.
- Provide occasional technical system and user support.
- Maintain your knowledge and expertise by learning new and evolving technologies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Customer focused and experience with supporting a wide range of customers
- Strong analytical and excellent verbal and written communications skills
- 3-5 years Network, Infrastructure and Cloud Computing
- Basic scripting/programming experience a plus
- BS Comp Sci or MIS Preferred
- Experience in a card processing or other secure processing facility a plus
- Results oriented, product focused, and at ease in an environment requiring the ability to quickly and appropriately prioritize conflicting demands
- High degree of initiative consistently demonstrated by the active ownership of complex problems through their successful resolution
- Team player eager to work closely with, learn from and mentor others while continually improving self and team
- Innately curious about new technologies and their practical application in a startup environment
- Flexibility and willingness to pitch in and wear more than one hat in a dynamic organization
- Authorized for full time employment in the United States
